What’s the meaning of a rule or what’s a rule worth when the violation of the rule stays unpunished or without to impose sanctions on the room/broadcaster? Right now it refers to playing copyrighted music during broadcast, but you can also expand it to other types of media (TV, Games etc). The topic was already discussed in former FAQs. It seems IMHO that chaturbate don’t take that topic seriously or is very generous in the interpretation of their own rule, even when the room is abuse reported

If a broadcaster is on webcam while they are breaking a rule or ToS on Chaturbate & they are reported, then Support / Admin’s have got to investigate the report of abuse. If the report is valid then Support / Admin’s will issue either a warning to the broadcaster that is violating the rule or ToS, otherwise they will place a ban / suspension on the account.

If a broadcaster has had multiple warnings / suspensions and they have ignored these warnings, their account can be banned.

FYI, playing copyright material (this includes TV, Movies, games *computer & console* & music) IS against the ToS which has been confirmed by Support & Shirley (C.O.O of Chaturbate).

If you wish to play music while broadcasting, it has got to be Royalty Free Music. Otherwise use earphones or headphones while listening to music.

If you wish to play games (computer or console) you are free to do so, but NOT showing the actual game (off cam).
