How do I do my own google image/google link takedowns? I just googled myself for the first time ever and there’s lots. I’ve tried figuring out how but none of my images seem to be getting removed. If you could do a step by step that would be a huge help xx (the google step by step doesn’t make sense to me)

Doing a DMCA (Digital Media Copyright Act) email / letter can be done by anyone with your permission, BUT please note that any information that is placed on a DMCA email / letter is then forwarded to the site that you’re reporting.  This is sometimes why models go through a 3rd party as then they’re private details are covered.

Here are the URL’s for reporting images & websites that appear in the results:

Images:

Google Image Removal

Web Search:

Google Web Search Removal

In these forms you need to submit the following:

Your Name,

Company (if applicable),

Copyright holder you represent (your username on Chaturbate),

Your email address,

Your Country

The you need to fill out the next two boxes as follows:

Identify and describe the copyrighted work: *

This means putting a description of what you’re doing within the image / content that you wish to report.  Normally you can put for Chaturbate is:

Live streaming webcam feed on the site Chaturbate.

Where can we see an authorized example of the work?:

This is where you enter your profile page from Chaturbate ie:

https://chaturbate.com/yourusernamehere/

Now comes the tricky parts, if you’re filling in the Image form, you need to type in what you typed to find the images you’re reporting.

Now the last boxes are for the actual images / url sites.

For images its best to open up a notepad / textedit program up so you can copy all the image urls from google you’re reporting.

To find the image urls you need to right click on an image within the google image search and select ‘Copy Link Address’ and paste this into the notepad / textedit page you opened up.  It should look like the following at the start of each url:

https://www.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=

Its best to put a blank line between each image url you’re copying from the goole results.

Don’t worry abut the coding as Google will automatically decode to the correct url where the image is actually located for the removal.

For Google Search Results, its the same way as the images I’ve just pointed out above, but this time the url will appear as:

https://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=

Once again, but a blank line between each one you copy as it makes it easier to look at which ones you’re getting & for Google to decode.

When you’ve got all the urls / images you need just copy them from the text document into the final box on the form.  Just take a little note that theres a MAX of 1000 lines, so you might have to do a form multiple times.

Just then tick the boxes that you’ve understood the statements etc, fill in the date you’re submitting them on & put in the name you put at the top of the form.  Then hit submit & Google should decode the correct urls, sometimes it can take a few seconds.  If theres an issue with any of the urls the tool will tell you and ask you to correct it.

Now just wait for Google to process the form and hopefully it’ll show that the images / urls will be removed.  If they cant remove them due to it being on a certain site like Twitter / Tumblr / Image hoster, they will inform you and ask you to get in contact with those sites to have the content removed.

Just a small word of caution, sometimes Google will re-enable the urls / images if they need more information from you if they believe that you’re not the owner of the content you’re reporting.  This is why its sometimes better to go through a 3rd party as you’ll be giving the 3rd party the permission to act as an agent for you.

If you need anymore information or help regarding this, you can just message back with contact details & will see what I can do.
