Feature UPDATED: Silencing Broadcasters

A feature on Chaturbate has been updated recently ‘Silence other Broadcasters’.

This feature has now been updated to have 3 options:

Silence other Broadcasters: Yes

Will silence age VERIFIED users

Silence other Broadcasters: Yes, only if broadcasting now

This will silence age VERIFIED users if they are broadcasting at the same time, if they stop broadcasting they will be allowed to talk

Silence other Broadcasters: No

Disables silencing of any aged verified users.

PLEASE NOTE: This setting will NOT silence anyone that is broadcasting, it will only silence users who are AGED VERIFIED (Can accept tokens).

Pee & Bad Dragon

Question was asked regarding Pee shows on Chaturbate, if a user / model states these shows are allowed they are incorrect.  Chaturbate do NOT allow these kind of shows at all and they are in violation of the Rules & Terms of Service that users & models signed when they joined Chaturbate.

Question regarding Bad Dragon dildo’s, these adult toys ARE allowed on Chaturbate at this moment in time as of December 2017.

if a broadcaster ban a user can they ever come back in that said broadcasters room again and how long are they banned? Also why doesn’t Chaturbate allow Paypal as a payment source?

Room bans, these depends on if you’ve been silenced or banned from another broadcasters room.  They can last from 30 days or more, but once the the ban has run its course you are allowed to go back to the broadcasters room.  If you do go back please take note of the broadcasters rules and don’t repeat what got you banned from their room.

On another note, a broadcaster can lift the ban of a user/s by either emailing support or clearing ip’s in their settings which will allow the ones who have been banned back into their room.

On the subject of Paypal, Chaturbate do allow payments via Paypal, but the cost of tokens increases.  If you can’t see the option of paying via Paypal please contact Support.

I’ve got a few instances of a broadcaster’s name of ‘None’ in my follows list, from which I cannot determine the identity. Usually, if a broadcaster has de-registered, there is a notice “This account has been deleted” on the broadcaster’s page, but I’ve never come across the appearance of ‘None’ before. Any ideas?

This can happen if the broadcaster is not in the room.  This is when a broadcasters room has been split into 2 rooms.  They’re in 1 room on their own, but users who join will be in another room which is more up to date.

For the broadcaster to be in the same room as everyone else, they would need to refresh their page.
