Question: Is there a limit on PAID Private Messages?
There is a character limit on ALL messages, where it be a public message or private message.
Public messages when we worked it out was a limit of 1024, so more than likely the same for private messages paid or unpaid.
EmmaLast year we had an idea for a project after stumbling across what is called a 3D printed scrolling clock. This clock informs you not only the time & date, but also other information like weather etc, so we thought could we modify it to work with Chaturbate.
We’re glad to say it now does, after some long and hard work, we have finally been able to get it working virtually perfect with Chaturbate. Please bare in mind the first version is for models / verified broadcasters.
The clock once set up will inform you of how many followers you have, how many tokens you have in your account and also convert them to dollars without having to manually log into Chaturbate and calculate it.
The ‘code’ is programmed for the Arduino D1 Mini (ESP8266) and displays on 2 or more Max7219 matrix displays. It is free code and the parts you need to purchase are: D1 Mini and (for best results) 2 x max7219 displays, if you wish you can either 3D print a case or have a company print it for you.

What does one do when cb support ignores emails about your account for well over 1 week
This really depends if your account has been banned or worse terminated. If it is the later, unfortunately there’s not much you can do as Chaturbate closes all doors if your account has been terminated.
If however it’s just enquiry regarding your account and your account is not banned / terminated, we highly recommend sending another email to the first ‘auto’ reply that you should of received. If you did not receive an auto reply, please check your spam box for the reply.
If you still can’t find any reply, you could try the ambercutie forum which they do monitor.

Comment: I’m wondering about passworded rooms? some rooms in CB seem to have been locked in password for weeks or months?
this one for example hot_phoebe hasn’t been online in 2 months but is still in password? how is that possible what is the purpose of leaving the room passworded for such a long time?
Broadcasters can have their accounts password protected for however long they wish, this can mean many things from a broadcaster no longer is active on the site or they only have password shows when they’re on cam.

Comment:As recently mentioned Cb still have major issues with LOOP fake videos on the trans model pages. These same videos have been appearing for over a year. Supposedly to make new accounts you need to setup full validation with holding id and photo etc. So how is it these loop videos are consitantly banned then come back under new names. Some have had as many as 20 different names they are obvious as they play out the same recordings they all seem to be connected sample image address ( screenshot attached ) All get reported (1 email with photos) some are still there even after being reported 3 or 4 DAYS ago. You Check them yourself theres no doubt they are %100 recorded material.
Unfortunately there is no way of knowing what ID’s are submitted to Chaturbate, but ID’s and IP addresses are connected to accounts that are used, unless Chaturbate has changed anything within their police / code.
Sometimes if an account has been hacked into which has a completely different ID and payment details are changed this is when issues can arise.
When these issues happen Chaturbate has a difficult job of investigating the issues and which are genuine and which are false.

Comment: Not a question in the normal sense, but a message to say I find your blog increasingly difficult to read.
1 I can’t understand why you are blocking a lot of text with a black background (and why is it so irregular?)
2 I think you should differentiate between the question and your reply. Currently, on a lot of entries, it is impossible to see where the question stops and your answer begins.
We are working trying to fix this issue as it seems it’s between the theme that’s being used and the app we use for publishing questions and comments.
Edit: We believe we have found the issue in the app that WordPress uses, we will have to go through all the posts that have been effected and alter them by editing them. Please allow us time in altering these.

Turns out just as expected eventually a few accounts got banned. One got a 1 day ban (pathetic!) now all thats happened is they moved the loop to play out in a different account each day, banning has no effect. God only know how many accounts they have surely the token get forfeited? unless its a money laundering operation..Oh and I under stand as an affiliate of CB, you can’t criticise or portray Chaturbate in any sort of a Negative way.
As we have stated the bans are set for different periods, if a account ignores the warnings / bans after they have been lifted and viewers report again for the same reason and an investigation by Chaturbate finds the reports are correct the account receives either more warnings / longer period ban or even possibly a permanent ban.
As an affiliate of Chaturbate we are just stating the facts of Chaturbate. We understand how frustrating it is as a viewer and broadcasters alike when certain aspects of Chaturbate don’t seem to be enforces. But as we’ve already stated, more happens behind the scenes than what others know.
Regarding the tokens situation, it is unknown if the tokens are removed from an account if it is found rules have been broken, but we do know that if a viewer finds they have been ‘cheated’ of their tokens due to what they tipped for was not fulfilled they can ask Chaturbate for a refund.

Comment:The issue is the slowness in CB responding to reports,for example aleja_bigass this room has been playing the same videoloop of drug taking trans colombian models as mentioned in previous messages here.
According to the online time on the preview its been online some 11 hours. Thats totally unacceptable that they have been able to scam token for half a day without CB actively removing their account. In that time online they have been reported by dozen of people using both the report abuse button and the contact support function. (screencaps supplied) Is that and acceptable response time ? 12 hours? If I had twitter I would go on CBS twitter feed and give them blasting. They run a 24×7 operation, but not removing a room after some 12 hours? well what if it was minors on there?? and before you repeat comments about use the report button , contact support ETC . ITS ALWAYS DONE. Support could make changes and should actively LOOK at the site themselves, it take 5 seconds to click the trans page and see this obviously repeated videoloop that appears on the site every day for at least 3 weeks. You would think they would be familiar with it.
CB’s support really need to improve and implement new procedures.
As it has already been pointed out to you, Chaturbate Support have to process hundreds if not thousands of emails and reports. Each one has to go through the process of being investigated. Due to the seriousness of the email / report would depend on how they are being processed.
Some reports are virtually instant and have to be processed within a certain amount of time, some will take longer and as already stated it depends how far along through emails / reports that Support are till when they eventually come to your email / report.
During the weekend this time can be extended due to a skeleton staff that maybe on hand. The Twitter team are virtually the same and can’t always reply instantly like an individual. You’ve also got to remember that just because a site is running 24/7 does not mean Support are on hand 24/7. You’ve always got to allow time for working hours and processing. We would suggest that if you need to make reports, that you make 1 report regarding an account and then move on. If you can’t do this and feel you need to make another report, please ONLY reply to the first reports reply from the auto generated reply. If you make more reports, this will only bog down the system can cause more issues than fixes. In answer to your comment regarding tippers, if a tipper feels they have been cheated due to a ‘looped video’ and they did not receive what they tipped for, they can make a refund request directly to Chaturbate Support. We feel we have answered all your questions & comments regarding this issue, no more can be said regarding it.
