There is nothing wrong with providing free help to models & users of Chaturbate. I am far from a know it all, that is why when I don’t know what the answer is from a question that is asked by a model or user I email Support to find out what the answer is. Everyone complains at how slow Chaturbate Support is for replying to questions but if there is someone who is providing the information without you having to contact Support its best all round as it’s helping the wider community at the heart. This way Support can handle the parts of the site that is more important ie: verification and account issues (banned accounts) or payments etc.

So, I’m brand new to Chaturbate and have been reading some of the questions but I still am wondering, I realize that you can no longer advertise for manyvids since they offer live streaming, but are you allowed to direct traffic to social media? And what if somebody wants to pay for a service off of social media? Should they send a tip through Chaturbate for that service? I’m really confused about how Chaturbate does that. I see lots of people advertising underwear/socks sales and social media / Skype sales and so on… But how are you supposed to collect payment? Does Chaturbate allow for that?

Social Media – Twitter, Instagram & Facebook etc are allowed to be advertised.

IF its your own private social media account, then it’s up to you if you wish to charge for that information.  Otherwise if its just an account for telling your followers when you’ll be online etc, then it’s still up to you if you want to charge or not.  Most models don’t charge for that access, they just ask users to follow them on the social media site to see photos or info when online next.  You’ve just got to remember that anyone that follows you can DM (Direct Message) you unless you have your settings that only people that you follow can DM you.

Selling garments (socks / underwear) is allowed, but take into account the cost of postage to certain countries which you’re setting your prices.

Now Skype is a gray area, it’s not advised to advertise this service or even do shows on the service as Chaturbate can NOT cover you if anything goes wrong.  This is why the advise you to do any shows on the site.  You can sell the Skype access within the gallery section of your account for a set amount of tokens – but please check with Support before you do as this rule keeps changing ever so often.

what happened to all the various hash tags? They seem a lot more limited now.

The limit in hashtags can vary from a broadcaster not entering them in correctly or the hashtag is not allowed, so it removed from the listings.

If a hashtag is not entered in correctly within their room status it will not appear on the hashtag listings.

Saw a Model on CB whose baby was crying in another room which could be heard. Is this allowed?

Technically it’s not allowed, but under the terms it’s anyone that’s in the same room has to be age verified. As you say they were in another room, Chaturbate would normally issue a warning with some advice as in muting the microphone or end the broadcast while the model/s dealt with the situation.

Regarding Broadcasters taking “bathroom breaks” / being AFK:

Is there an unspoken rule that a certain length of time away AFK is prohibited? eg Leaving the cam on with an empty room for 15 mins is okay but over an hour is against the rules?

Yes, this is true. If you take too long from being in front of the webcam Chaturbate can and does issue warnings if you’ve been too long.

I have just seen a room called ‘Username given‘ they are calling themselves twin sisters in the chat.. A curveball is they are trans. Surely the same incest rule will apply the support on cb seem to be asleep on the issue.

Looking into the room given, they are using the word ‘sisters’ loosely and not literally.

It’s just like some girls who call themselves ‘sisters’ as they care for one another but not actually sisters.

I’ve been camming for 2.5 years and have roughly 20,000 followers, I have been a spotlight model, yet I still tend to carry an average of 20 -30 viewers during a session.

I’ve read a few blogs in various corners of the internet that have suggested some accounts end up hitting a glitch that prevents their pages from being shows a good majority of the time with some girls creating new accounts and having success immediately in getting 100+ viewers.

This can happen a lot to models on Chaturbate.  Sometimes a model can be (what Chaturbate gives the term of) ‘Ghosted’ this is when a model is under investigation for certain aspects regarding their account.

But NOT saying this has happened to you, it just maybe the case of what time you are going online & how much you are promoting yourself via social media (Twitter / Instagram / Snapchat etc).

If users have got your Snapchat, promote yourself by stating on a story that you’re about to go online, if you’ve got Twitter then you can promote yourself by tweeting to certain accounts for example:

BDSM on Chaturbate is a fine line, they do allow some sorts of BDSM, but only models have got to make sure there is no blood from broken skin or anything that is blood appearance (using red candles that could be mistaken for blood).
