Regarding Banned Accounts
Quite a few users have been asking questions regarding when they’ve been banned which I had no idea the answers to these questions, so I emailed Support asking some of these questions. Below is the answer that was received:
Question:
If a user gets banned from the site and you guys don’t state what the
reason is but they’ve got tokens in the account & have purchased content in the ‘My Collection’ & recordings of private shows, what happens to all this content & the tokens if the user has been banned ??
Answer:
If a user is banned from the site and they have tokens remaining in
their account that they purchased we will issue a refund usually for
their last purchase. For example, if a user last purchased 1,000 tokens
and had 875 tokens remaining we will just round up and refund the $79.99
charge. If a model is banned and has tokens remaining in their account
they will get a final payout. There are a few reason they wouldn’t get a
final payout, like credit card fraud, showing video of other models and
trying to pass that off as them self, mostly any fraud situation would
not receive a final payout.
If they have purchased videos or
photos they just stay in the account. Photos and videos are not
downloadable so they do not receive a copy of these items.
Question:
Do you give the actual reason why a user has been banned??
Answer:
We usually do not give the reason they were banned if the account is going to remain banned. We are usually pretty vague.
If
an account was banned but it is not a violation that would leave the
account banned forever and a user emails about the issue we will give
them the reason they were banned, ask them not to repeat it and unban
the account.
When we say the ban us due to suspected violation of
the terms and conditions it really isn’t suspect, we know there was a
violation and have proof that there was a violation. It is just the
terminology that we use.
Question:
Would a user be able to do anything if the ban is due to suspected break
of the terms of service ??
Answer:
It really depends on what the ban is for. If it is fraud, showing a
minor on cam, hacking accounts, showing recorded video of another model,
asking models to show their children on camera, spamming rooms, being
verbally abusive to models, using a fake ID to become age verified, etc –
these are things that would be a permanent ban. Also, a model who has
repeated violations, they continue to ignore our warnings, would be a
permanent ban. Keep in mind, there are certain things, like pee, poo and
blood, that are actually illegal and not just against our terms and
conditions. Every situation is unique and we look at multiple aspects to
make the determination of whether or not the account should be
unbanned.
There are times when an exhibitionist will have their
account banned and will see the message your account was banned due to
suspected violation of our terms and conditions. This is a situation
where we would require age verification to unban the account. This
happens because a user was either not showing their face while
broadcasting and we were not able to determine their approximate age or
because they look young and we are not sure they are over 18. This is a
similar situation to being carded in a bar. It is only to protect the
establishment (the site).
If a users account is banned just
suggest they email us. If it is something that does not call for a
permanent ban we will unban the account once they email us. They do have
to email us, bans will not expire the, account needs to be unbanned by
an administrator. We try to be fair and we understand that things happen
but at the same time we cannot put the site at risk.

Is it ok to have the super bowl playing in the background tonight as long as it’s audio only and no video/tv screen is showing?
That should be alright, but you would need to confirm with Support.
As this could be classed as Radio broadcast in the background.
Site Update: New Feature
As some of you have noticed, Chaturbate has a new feature for Blocking & Deleting your followers.
Blocking & Deleting Followers Chaturbate Link:
You can now block or delete your followers. Go to your bio and click on your follower number. Find the follower you would like to block or delete, click on the tool symbol on the top right corner of their account image, and select the preferred option.
If you block a follower, that person will no longer receive your follower notifications. The follower button in your room will be disabled so that the user is not able to re-follow you.
If you delete a follower, the user is removed from your follower list, but that user can re-follow you in the future.

So here’s a question that’s not exactly a rule but I’m curious if you have any insight: Do you know how often CB does a screen grab of the room and updates it over to the thumbnail that represents the room in the list of rooms on the main pages? Is this timed at a certain interval or does it depend on server load?

To answer your question, the browser sections seem to refresh every 44 seconds (approx) but the room previews refresh every 30 seconds (approx).

is it possible to see when spending cap is being lifted, as not fussed on sending on passport scan to get verified, it would really be a good piece of info to give users when buying tokens
Sorry but there is no countdown timer to see this, but it will be suggested to Chaturbate for improvements.
Normally the limit timers are:
24 hours, 3 days, 1 week, 1 month
This all depends how much you spend on the site, all set to protect from fraud.
Advertising any part of the service of Skype on Chaturbate is strictly against the Terms of Service. Models can be warned & banned on the site for this or taking tokens in exchange of Skype. On first read, this looks like the answer is “no skype” but the example I gave does not violate any of these conditions… The model doesnt advertise skype. And they dont take tokens for skype. They take tokens for the private and use skype for audio at no additional cost. Is this allowable?
Pretty sure this is an Infinite loop, Support state no Skype under any circumstances.
So several models have asked me… is it against the ToS to use skype for VOICE only WHILE a viewer is PAYING TOKENS for a per minute private show. The ToS states q) Contributors may exchange information with users of the Site, including contact information, but Contributors MAY NOT use users’ information to provide webcam shows or receive payments OUTSIDE of the Site. So… is using skype really an auto ban if the person is paying tokens for the private and asking for skype for audio only?

Is it against the rules to be one FaceTime while on cam? A user told me he was reporting me for doing so but my phone was not visible on camera and neither was the person I was talking to. The person was of legal age on my phone call
It is advisable when taking these kind of phone calls to mute the audio and not show the person you are talking to as anyone that appears on the webcam feed has got to be age verified if you are a verified model.
From what you have stated, you should be fine.
