As Adobe Flash Player is now banished to internet history, here is a guide how to remove it from your computer/s.
To see if you have Adobe Flash Player still installed on your computer/s, you can easily find out by going to the ‘Control Panel’ on a Windows computer & Mac ‘Settings’ on a MacOS.
If you see Flash / Flash 32bit within these locations, you still have it installed.
For Windows users, just visit the url:
https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html
For Mac users, just visit the url:
https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-mac-os.html
From here you will either download a program (Windows) or dmg (Mac). These programs will automatically uninstall Flash Player from your computer/s.
Simply click on ‘Download the Adobe Flash Player uninstaller‘ from the pages then close all your browsers and run the program/s then follow the instructions.
Once its removed from your computer/s, you may need to reboot (Windows you will need to reboot).
We hope this is of some help / guidance to users & broadcasters.
Now when visiting websites, you’ll be using the most up to date HTML5 which has taken over from Flash Player.
